Amidst an ongoing campaign to discredit country music artist Jason Aldean and his recent release, “Try That in a Small Town,” there has been public support from former US President Donald Trump. Trump expressed his admiration for Aldean on the social media platform Truth Social, describing him as an exceptional individual and urging his followers to show their support for the artist, saying:
“Jason Aldean is a fantastic guy who just came out with a great new song. Support Jason all the way. MAGA!!!”
Aldean’s latest single has sparked controversy due to its provocative portrayal of recent civil unrest and escalating lawlessness in the United States. The music video, which has been removed from circulation on CMT, features the country star performing in front of a courthouse. Interspersed with his performance are scenes depicting flag desecration, violent protests, and thefts from convenience stores—a depiction that has generated considerable controversy.
The song, credited to Kelly Lovelace, Neil Thrasher, Tully Kennedy, and Kurt Michael Allison, directly addresses individuals involved in criminal activities. However, these lyrics, including lines like “carjack an elderly lady at a traffic signal,” “threaten a firearm on a liquor store owner,” and “verbally abuse a police officer,” have received criticism from those who find them objectionable.
The truth always upsets the left. They tried that on Morgan Wallen too. Didn’t work out so well for them. CMT supports the posers like Kelsi and Garth. Time to Bud Light CMT.
Cancel culture a waste of time. The only good thing they could ever do is cancel themselves.
Go Jason Hooray awesome

I am not a fan of country music, so I was unaware of his song until a friend sent me a link to a YouTube video of it. While I still am not a fan of country music, I do support and approve of the message in the song. I live in a far-too-liberal city in the Midwest and am far too invested here to move away due to my work. I see the insanity of the left on a daily basis: guys going into gals’ restrooms, bicyclists and pedestrians ignoring traffic signals and then blaming the drivers who have the green lights for having to screech to a stop to avoid hitting these idiots, shoplifters whining and moaning when they get arrested (the rare times that they do thanks to the lazy cops in this city), and so much more. Fortunately, my city hasn’t yet been hit by the violent streak of burning and plundering that have hit the large cities but I fear that may well be coming. We need to quell this now before it gets any worse.
