Second round of questioning for Donald Trump in fraud lawsuit

Former President Donald Trump is facing a second round of questioning on Thursday in connection with the fraud lawsuit filed against him and the Trump Organization by New York Attorney General Letitia James. It is widely expected that Trump will plead the fifth amendment, as he did during his first deposition in late 2020. The lawsuit alleges that Trump and his company misled banks and others about the value of his assets, and seeks to recover more than $250 million in ill-gotten gains from fraud.

The lawsuit not only names Trump, but James will also target several members of his family, including his daughter Ivanka.
