In what seems like an audacious move to many, vocal trans-activists, including Ellen Page, are launching a guidebook on social media usage, titled “To Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter.” This publication, which appears to be an attempt to govern how we all interact online, is specifically designed to suit the interests of the LGBTQ community, a move that has prompted numerous eyebrows to be raised.
In essence, this guide seems to suggest that every social media user must tread on eggshells around LGBTQ individuals, to avoid the risk of causing any possible offence. This includes even discussing factual information about members of these communities may be considered offensive if it doesn’t align with their preferred narratives. One has to wonder – has political correctness reached a new peak of absurdity?
