In a Hollywood minute, Amanda discusses the Coronation of King Charles. The UK has not seen a coronation in 70 years, just showing the long reign of Queen Elizabeth, for some Americans keeping up with the royals and watching the coronation could be a novelty. Going into a post-truth and post-tradition era here in the US many might be tuning in to watch out of nostalgia for watching a tradition take place. It is for sure something to appreciate and observe. To mark the special ceremony many world leaders were invited, however, Joe Biden of course said no thanks and sent his wife instead. Former President Trump, like most Americans, had an opinion on this. Trump said this was a disrespectful move and a snub from Biden to the UK. While of course, Biden should be in attendance as the representative of our country, Trump stated Biden most likely physically could not do it. How disgusting.
