Sources: DeSantis 2024 Announcement Weeks Away!

In a Hollywood Minute Amanda discusses Ron DeSantis. According to NBC the Florida Governor is planning to launch an exploratory committee for the 2024 White House. According to NBC sources, this exploratory committee could come as early as mid-May shortly followed by an official campaign launch. However, he would need to do a lot to catch up. This IS Donald Trump’s race right now and DeSantis is trailing behind and would need somewhere around 20 points to catch up. On top of Trump topping the polls, DeSantis isn’t keeping financial backers as many top GOP donors are pulling out of the DeSantis idea because he isn’t, based on what is being spread around, a loyal guy. He doesn’t even return phone calls! Fifty-five percent of the Florida delegation has come out in support of President Trump, not even their own governor. Can’t see it working out in 2024, maybe 2028, but if he blows it this time around he most likely won’t have the parties’ support in 2028 either.
