Another bizarre scandal in the ongoing saga of Hunter Biden’s misdeeds has now broken. According to a shocking new report in Politico, Hunter Biden and his late brother’s widow Hallie Biden, who he was having a sexual relationship with at the time, were involved in a bizarre incident in 2018 during which Hallie took one of Hunter’s guns and placed it into a garbage can at the back of a supermarket.
In addition, part of the story also involves an alleged coverup carried out by the Secret Service in order to prevent the public from becoming aware of the strange and troubling incident.
Per Politico:
On Oct. 23, 2018, President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and daughter in law Hallie were involved in a bizarre incident in which Hallie took Hunter’s gun and threw it in a trash can behind a grocery store, only to return later to find it gone.
Delaware police began investigating, concerned that the trash can was across from a high school and that the missing gun could be used in a crime, according to law enforcement officials and a copy of the police report obtained by POLITICO.
But a curious thing happened at the time: Secret Service agents approached the owner of the store where Hunter bought the gun and asked to take the paperwork involving the sale, according to two people, one of whom has firsthand knowledge of the episode and the other was briefed by a Secret Service agent after the fact.
The gun store owner refused to supply the paperwork, suspecting that the Secret Service officers wanted to hide Hunter’s ownership of the missing gun in case it were to be involved in a crime, the two people said. The owner, Ron Palmieri, later turned over the papers to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, which oversees federal gun laws.
Per a statement given to Politico in response to the story, the Secret Service has now officially denied that there were any records of agents being involved with the case, as Hunter did not qualify for protection at the time of the event in question.
As The Daily Wire notes, the Secret Service office in Delaware would reportedly ‘unofficially’ manage Joe Biden’s security before he began his 2020 presidential run.
In addition, Hallie Biden reportedly attempted to hide the weapon in the trash can because she was afraid Hunter might use it to commit suicide, as she believed he was ‘mentally unstable’:
Hallie Biden told Hunter Biden what she did, at which point he told her to retrieve the firearm. When she returned to the store to get the firearm out of the trash, it was missing. The Delaware State Police and the FBI responded to the scene to investigate and questioned Hunter Biden. A copy of the police report said that Hunter Biden “became very agitated” when he was asked if the firearm had been used to commit a crime.
When Hunter Biden was asked if he was doing drugs or drinking, Hunter Biden responded by saying that Hallie Biden was concerned about him being mentally unstable, saying that she was concerned that he was going to commit suicide.
The shocking report comes just as President Biden is attempting to enact strict new gun control measures. Which, one must assume, likely won’t apply to his son.
