On Thursday, the New York Supreme Court suspended former Trump attorney and NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani’s law license.
The Hill reports:
The court concluded that Giuliani made “demonstrably false and misleading statements” to courts, lawmakers and the public when he was representing former President Trump and his campaign in their failed effort to overturn the 2020 election results.
In a 33-page decision, the court said the seriousness of Giuliani’s “uncontroverted misconduct can not be overstated.”
It determined that the formal personal attorney for former President Trump should have his license suspended while a disciplinary action continues to be considered.
“For the reasons that follow, we conclude that there is uncontroverted evidence that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’s failed effort at reelection in 2020,” the court wrote.
Trump released a statement responding to the news.
“Can you believe that New York wants to strip Rudy Giuliani, a great American Patriot, of his law license because he has been fighting what has already been proven to be a Fraudulent Election? The greatest Mayor in the history of New York City, the Eliot Ness of his generation, one of the greatest crime fighters our Country has ever known, and this is what the Radical Left does to him. All of New York is out of control, crime is at an all-time high—it’s nothing but a Witch Hunt, and they should be ashamed of themselves. TAKE BACK AMERICA!”

Now why should Giuliani be an exception to the laws or regulation of this USA, This whole thing about the lie told by Trump in both the 2016 and 2020 election is going to put a lot of people in jail for a long time and Giuliani is not out of the woods yet, there is both Federal and State investigations into what he did and how he did it. In this USA when you tell a lie or repeat a lie which will cause major discard within the Country you are subject to charges. Now Trump started the lie and Giuliani just added fuel to the fire convincing so many that our election system is corrupt, and not one ounce of proof in any way, that old saying about Freedom of Speech, and you can not yell fire in a crowded theater , and that is exactly what happened with Trump and Giuliani, and others.

Why would someone as wealthy as Rudy Giuliani make false and misleading statements when trying to overturn the 2020 election results! It makes no sense and one has to wonder just why any of this is happening! It’s obvious that the court decided to make a show of this for whatever useless reason they could come up with! It certainly leaves one with less than confidence in the Supreme Court!

When this ends, Giuliani needs to relocate to a friendlier place. In the year before Covid, Forbes listed San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York City as among the ten worst places to live in the world. Once relocated, he should go on the morning shows and lecture circuit to explain why he moved. Politically, New York seems as undesirable as Caracas. Time to join the crush of conservatives fleeing Cuomo’s catastrophe.

Besides, I’d like them to demonstrate which statements Guliani said that were false. Hasn’t been done yet, and the attempt would likely prove the opposit. I wonder what will happen when the results of the Arizona audit comes out?
