Embattled former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will not be criminally charged for his office’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to nursing home deaths that his administration later covered up.

“I was contacted today by the head of the Elder Care Unit from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office who informed me they have closed its investigation involving the Executive Chamber and nursing homes,” said his lawyer, former federal prosecutor Elkan Abramowitz.

“I was told that after a thorough investigation — as we have said all along — there was no evidence to suggest that any laws were broken.”

In the early stages of the pandemic, Cuomo controversially ordered nursing homes and long-term care facilities to take in patients that had tested positive for the virus, who then passed it onto more than ten thousand high risk elderly patients.

Cuomo blamed nursing home staff, not hospital patients, for spreading the infection amongst their wards, but later rescinded the problematic policy in May.

An investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James revealed that the state’s Department of Health underreported the number of deaths by at least 50%. A bombshell report released in April 2021 revealed that the Cuomo administration knowingly covered up the actual number of nursing home deaths for a minimum of five months.

“The whole brouhaha here is overblown to the point where there are cynical suggestions offered for the plain and simple truth that the chamber wanted only to release accurate information that they believed was totally unassailable,” Abramowitz said at the time.

The Manhattan district attorney’s office, helmed by prosecutor Alvin Bragg, who took over for former DA Cyrus Vance Jr. at the beginning of the year, reportedly closed the case without filing charges against Cuomo.

“There are still ongoing investigations into the nursing home “matters” by the FBI, DOJ Eastern District and AG. This sounds like a little favor from an outgoing Manhattan DA which we’ll address with the new DA,” tweeted Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean.

Both of Dean’s in-laws died of COVID in nursing homes after the order. “If Andrew Cuomo wasn’t guilty of something then why did he resign? He should’ve fought for the truth,” she wrote in a follow-up. “That’s what a “New York Tough” guy would’ve done.”

The disgraced former governor resigned in August over accusations of sexual harassment and assault from multiple women.

Another criminal democrat party politician walks without being held accountable for a capitol crime. The rule of law has once again been manipulated to save a criminal from justice.

His time will come soon enough when he stands before the Judge that knows all things. He will not walk away blameless, their blood is on his hands.

The evil seems to be above the law here on the earth, but nothing done in darkness is hidden from Yahuwah. The evil will pay.
