Republicans in Nebraska have had it with their Senator Ben Sasse. Especially in light of his recent attacks on former President Trump.
The Central Committee of the Republican party in Nebraska is now so sick of Sasse’s anti-Trump rhetoric that they are reportedly preparing to censure him over his comments.

A move is in the works to politically slap-down Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse for what his critics call his constant opposition to now former President Donald Trump including Sasse’s most recent claim that Trump was “pouring gasoline” on the riot at the Capitol.
A “Resolution of Censure” against the GOP lawmaker has been drafted, with eyes on a vote February 13 when the Nebraska Republican Party’s State Central Committee meets in Columbus…
Desautels, who tells NCN that Sasse is a “player, a political opportunist and a climber,” takes the first step toward the censure this Saturday during an “emergency meeting” of the Hitchcock County GOP and State Central Committee District 315 which covers nine counties in the southwest corner of the state.
Upon hearing the news Sasse and his team fired back, releasing a five minute video directed at the Nebraska Central Committee in which he defended his words and actions and continued to attack Trump:
