Last night, President Donald Trump gave his second State of the Union address.
As usual, the Republicans stood and applauded over a hundred times throughout the long address, while Democrats mostly sat there looking like they’d just eaten a turd — even when Trump said things no sane person could argue with.
The speech began with a call for unity and bipartisan cooperation, and included a list of the administration’s accomplishments in terms of the economy, national security and foreign relations.
Among Trump’s honored guests in the gallery was a former inmate of Dachau — sitting beside one the the American soldiers who liberated him.
I give this State of the Union a grade of A+, and at least according to some polls, it looks like many of my fellow citizens agree with me.
