Attorney General William Barr’s press conference at 9:30 am today concluded that the Mueller Report found no American “willingly helped Russia” in the 2016 election. Moreover, evidence collected by the Special Counsel Office’s was not enough to warrant obstruction of justice.
Barr stood at the podium alongside Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Congress will receive Mueller’s report, with redactions afforded by federal statute, at 11:00 am on compact discs.
The report’s release is the culmination of almost two years of rampant speculation – much to the chagrin of President Donald Trump.
