Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake had a brutal message for CNN reporter Kyung Lah when she approached the candidate for an interview.
According to The Daily Caller:
“I’ll do an interview as long as it airs on CNN+,” Lake responded. “Does that still exist? I didn’t think so because the people don’t like what you guy are peddling. Which is propaganda. Thank you.”
CNN previously called Lake a “rising star of the right-wing” and “proud spreader of lies” that the 2020 presidential election results were fraudulent.
Lah previously interviewed Lake where they sparred over the election results.
“You’re buying into everything they say,” Lake told Lah. “This is the same people who did not want this forensic audit. I know what you guys are trying to do, you don’t give a damn about our elections. You’ve got a narrative and you’re trying to push it.”
“And what is that narrative?” Lah asked.
“The narrative is, it’s fraud, it’s fake. I will be damned if when I’m governor, we’re gonna have another election run this way,” Lake said.
Lah was left speechless in the dust.
CNN’s incoming CEO Christ Licht has vowed to remove much of the highly partisan “reporting” for the network in hopes a return to facts-based reporting will provide a bump to the network’s currently dismal ratings..
It never fails to amaze me how the mainstream media will pick a side and formulate an agenda “before” any interview. They really hate when people are onto them and wonder why some won’t allow them to interview them. As for the politicians, they know that they’ve just got to have a few key people on their side that believes that “the end justifies the means” even though it’s usually not. If I was Kari, I’d call them out every chance I got.
The media in this country is the mouthpiece for the Democrat party. Whatever the hell the democrat’s say, the media will latch onto it and continue to spread the lies. There are even a bunch of Republicans that seem to refuse to push back on the media when they try highjack them. What needs to happen is that the media by put in their place. I was taught that the media was/is suppose to report the news and not lies. Gee, was I wrong.
Journalists need to be licensed, just like doctors and lawyers, so that they need to ONLY report the facts, not opinions. If you can’t do that you lose your license and shouldn’t be allowed to report news. They can still voice opinions, but it must be clearly stated multiple times that it is only opinion.
Whatever is found at the top percolates downhill. Leadership by a partisan goon enforcing a certain narrative means reporters and staff spewing the same. Still, sooner or later the truth will out.
