Fox News host Brit Hume fired back at President Trump on Twitter over the commander-in-chief’s intensifying criticism of the network.
The Hill’s Chris Mills Rodrigo has more:
“Say this for Buttigieg. He’s willing to be questioned by Chris Wallace, something you’ve barely done since you’ve been president,” Hume tweeted, quoting Trump’s initial criticism.
“Oh, and covering candidates of both parties is part of the job of a news channel.”

Trump blasted the network Sunday night for “wasting airtime” by covering Buttigieg and other 2020 Democratic candidates.
Buttigieg and Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) have participated in events on Fox News despite the Democratic National Committee announcing in March that it would not allow Fox News to host any of its presidential primary debates this cycle because of its close ties to the White House.
Despite the series finale of Game of Thrones, Fox News’ town hall with Pete Buttigieg averaged one million viewers – thumping its liberal competitors combined.
