The Hill has more:
Cher didn’t indicate when her face-to-face meeting with Biden took place.
The 76-year-old potential 2020 White House hopeful has been accused by multiple women of interactions that they said made them feel uncomfortable and/or bordered on inappropriate.
One accuser, who was 19 when she met Biden during an event about sexual assault, says he placed his hand on her thigh and hugged her “just a little bit too long.” Another allegation, by former former Nevada state Assemblywoman Lucy Flores, said that Biden planted a “big slow kiss” on the back of her head during her 2014 campaign event.
Biden addressed some of the accusations in a Wednesday video, saying, “Social norms have begun to change, they’ve shifted, and the boundaries of protecting personal space have been reset, and I get it.”
