Via American Action News:

On the eighteenth anniversary of the worst acts of terror in human history, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee accosted the former Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Thomas Homan.

ICE is an agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). DHS’ formation came in the smoldering aftermath of 9/11 to protect the United States from future threats.

During the hearing, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) called Horman “jingoistic” and “bigoted.” Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) told Homan history will remember him as being “ruthless and inhumane.”

Homan also served in the Obama administration.
