CNN Star Hints at Presidential Run

Zucker, president of CNN revealed to former Obama campaign manager David Axelrod that he's "very interested in politics" and may run for office.

The revelation came during Zucker's interview on Axelrod's "The Axe Files" podcast. (WorldNetDaily)

“With regard to be where I’ll be in five years,” Zucker said, “I don’t know for sure where I’ll be but here’s the two things I do know: if the Miami Dolphins call, that’s where I’ll be.

“And number two, I still harbor somewhere in my gut that I’m still very interested in politics.”

...

“So, I’m still interested in that and it’s something I would consider,” Zucker said.

“Well, give me a call if you’re thinking about it,” said Axelrod, who was chief campaign strategist for President Obama.

Zucker turned down an offer to work for Al Gore's campaign in 2000.
